A bit of background information

We practice Yang Tradition Taijiquan. Within the Yang Tradition several sub-styles developed during the 20th century. Our method comes from Shanghai during the first half of the 20th century, when this city harboured a flourishing Martial Arts world and several big names played an important role in the development of Taijiquan. We owe our practice to grandmasters Dong Yingjie and Tian Zhaolin, who were both well-known masters closely involved in the spreading of the Yang Style Taijiquan initiated by Yang Chengfu.
