Our College is a private and independent institute. It provides education at university
and post-graduate level in the field of Taoist Studies, Chinese Fine Arts and Chinese
Culture. There are three years Bachelor of Taoist Arts (BTA) and two years Master
of Taoist Arts (MTA) programs, which contain various specialized courses on Chinese
Painting and Calligraphy, Authentic Taoist Medical Traditions, Classical Chinese
Language, Taoist Taijiquan and Qigong, and many other interesting subjects.
Our scientific research center TASC (Taoist Alchemical Studies Center) also advises
on Taoist and Chinese medical issues and its qualified staff can offer Taoist medical
treatment.
A vast private library of Taoist literature and Chinese subjects, is available to
our students.
TASC also organizes conferences on Chinese culture. We publish books on Chinese subjects
and our staff contributes articles to books and magazines by other publishers.
We co-operate on a formal/informal basis with other scientific and Taoist institutes
and individuals in Belgium and abroad (European Universities, Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences, Suzhou and Jiangsu Taoist Association, Hangzhou Chinese Academy
of Fine Arts, etc.).
We are also active in the field of fine arts. Our other website www.china-art.org
presents works of art about and from China and news about our exhibitions.
